National Skill Training Institute , Ludhiana is an Institute under Directorate General of Training, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India is conducting Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) / ITI courses under the aegis of NCVT in the following trades :

Programme structure : The duration of above course is one year.

Eligibility for Admission : Passed 10th class examination with Science and Mathematics
Age limit : Minimum 14 years, No upper age limit
Admission & Award of Certificate : Candidates can enroll for the above programmes. A candidate has to secure 33 % in Trade Theory, 33% in employability skills, and 60% in Trade Practical marks in and also have a minimum of 80 % attendance only the candidates will be allowed to appear for the final examination conducted by NCVT, New Delhi in June/July every year. On passing the prescribed exam, trainees will be awarded the National Trade Certificate from NCVET.
